Rafa is an Ayahuasca Preparation & Integration Coach and Amazonian Plant Medicine Guide dedicated to bringing balance back into both your in my inner and outer world—helping you weave the seen and unseen together so you can live in greater harmony. 

He is native of Brasil and a lifelong seeker of healing, connection, and transformation. His journey has led him through diverse landscapes—both inner and outer—from his decade-long career in education, where he earned M.S. and M.Ed. degrees, served as a teacher and school principal in New York City, to deep immersion in the wisdom of the Amazon Rainforest, where he maintains an active relationship with his dietas and the spiritual guidance of his Indigenous Peruvian Shipibo maestros.

Before stepping into his calling, Rafa spent five years sailing the world aboard a catamaran. From the outside, it was an adventure of exploration and freedom. But as the tides and stars carried him across the sea, he discovered that what he was truly seeking wasn’t out there—it was within.

That revelation became the doorway to an inner pilgrimage: healing childhood trauma, reconnecting with ancestral roots, and dedicating himself to the path of plant medicine with sincerity and reverence. 

Rafa brings together ancient Indigenous technologies with contemporary, trauma-informed practices to support those navigating expanded states of consciousness and soul-level transformation. He holds space with empathy, clarity, and care—creating a safe, inclusive containers for individuals to remember who they are beneath the noise—especially for those who have experienced marginalization or trauma. 

He recognizes the profound imprints that life experiences leave on the body, mind, and our energy. His lived experiences allow him to meet his clients where they are, with empathy and attunement to their unique needs.

He offers preparation and integration coaching for those working with entheogens, as well as ceremonial guidance that honors the sacredness of this path.
